My nighttime ritual includes: The one thing I always try to do is write 2-3 sentences in a book called "mom's one line a day" about my daughter which will be a keepsake for her when she's older. Other than that I'm a no-fuss kind of gal and beauty products aren't really my thing so I keep it simple—wash face, apply lotion, brush teeth, chat in bed with my hubby, say prayers, and sleep!
When I can’t sleep I… scroll through Pinterest & pin to all my boards, which I know won't help me fall asleep but I can't resist.
My go-to bedtime snack is: any old-school, rot-your-teeth, sugary junk food—Swedish fish, nerds, sour patch kids—the list is long!
I am a: stomach, side, or back- sleeper. Side for sure. I've never understood how someone could sleep on their stomach and not wake up with a kink in their neck!
T.V. in bed? If so, what’s on? There's a debate in our house over this. Josh (my husband) is adamant that TVs in bed are a relationship & romance killer. I always dream of watching movies in bed. In our 12 years of marriage we've never had a TV in our bedroom and we're still happily married. It gives us time to talk, dream, share, etc before we go off to la la land.
Which Jimmy: Kimmel or Fallon? My late night TV vice is Andy Cohen on Bravo.
Pets in bed? Sadly I'm allergic, so no pets!
My bedtime wardrobe consists of: Sleep mask and pajamas!
What’s your stance on earplugs and eye-masks? My stance is that I'll be much more fun when I'm awake if I actually sleep well at night. So if you want me in a good mood, allow me to do whatever it takes to have a good nights sleep be it eye masks, ear plugs, fancy pillows, sound machines or anything in-between.
Fill in the blank: I sleep _________ on planes. Terribly. Seriously—how do people do it?
I prefer to sleep… in a luxurious hotel, after watching a movie & ordering room service in bed.
My duvet and bed linens are… always changing! I have several different sets—some vintage, some luxurious ones like Sferrra, and some inexpensive ones like Zara Home.
What’s on your nightstand? I've got about 10-15 design & architecture related coffee table books as well as the latest month's issues of design magazines.
My bedtime is at approximately: 10:30
I aim for ___ hours of sleep each night: 8 but typically get about 7
Are you an early riser, or do you prefer to sleep in? If the world ran on a schedule that began around 10 a.m. and my daughter would sleep in accordingly, I'd love to stay up later and sleep in until 8 a.m. every day. I've never been a morning person, but since I've got kids, I've been forced to become an early riser.
