  • Kallista has introduced a new butler/entertainment and kitchen apron-front sink to its Bacifiore stainless-steel collection, part of the successful chef-inspired kitchen sinks by internationally known interior and product designer Mick De Giulio.

“This latest Bacifiore design provide elements of sculpture, craft, and visual texture that can meld with many design vocabularies,” De Giulio says. “The polished and hand-hammered finish is clean and elegant. It can be used anywhere, but I see it working well in a back kitchen or butler’s pantry where a unique or statement piece is desired.”

The sink is shown here in an installation with the latest tile to join Ann Sacks' prestigious line-up of marbles, Scala, a stone breathtaking in its range of color and veining. The wealth of color variance moves from deep to grassy greens, slate gray, deep sapphire blue, and soft to midnight shades of black, broken by creamy white veining that ebbs, pools, and flows throughout the dramatic field. It's offered in several slab sizes suitable for all wall and floor applications.

The backsplash shows another new tile—Ann Sacks has partnered with parent company, Kohler Co., to create The Crackle Collection by Kohler WasteLAB, an innovative tile series that employs Kohler’s unfired pottery cull as its medium, transforming the waste into a responsive tile body. Handcrafted in the WasteLAB located in the Kohler, Wis. enamel factory, the bespoke collection was one of the initiatives spun from the Kohler Innovation for Good program. Taking its cues from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the company sought out inventive solutions to recycle its factory waste, and true to the company’s heritage, the result would be in the form of beautiful and functional products.

  • Ann Sacks has again partnered with Kelly Wearstler to bring Obelisque, a remarkable new pattern, and new marble colorway, Lilac, to the Ann Sacks Liaison by Kelly Wearstler collection. Also making its debut is Lilac, a soft grayish-violet shade with cream veining, its rarified color complementing the existing marble choices, each selected for its natural beauty. With the introduction of Obelisque, the Liaison series now offers 19 unique designs.
