The aeoniums featured in this month's Greenhouse were photographed in Patrick Anderson's wonderful garden in California. It was the main garden feature in our July 2006 issue.
Patrick's garden is very much an extension of his life, and he brings to its cultivation the same energy and passion that he brings to his work for a local AIDS charity hospice and the other organzations that he supports. For a man who claims "I've never met an aloe I don't like," his plant range is extensive, and I could have spent many more days there talking and learning from him about how to grow the cacti and succulents we're both addicited to.
