The Garden Conservancy Open Days Season 2013
Written and produced by Rebecca Christian and Lucy Fitzgerald
Every year, private gardens around the country throw open their gates to visitors during the Open Days program, sponsored by the Garden Conservancy. Inspired by England’s National Garden Scheme, the program allows visitors to take self-guided tours through America’s most stunning gardens, which are not usually open to the public. The tour includes nearly every region of the country, and has provided exclusive access to thousands of gardens over the years. Read on for a sneak peek at some of our favorites.
For more information about the Open Days program, as well as dates and locations for this year’s tour, please visit their website.
