    Shopping List

    We’ve organized a grocery list to make shopping for this menu easier for you. Package sizes are included so you have enough for duplicated recipe ingredients.

    For prepared dolmades or grilled chicken breasts, visit the prepared foods section or a specialty food store.

    Check your pantry for these necessary items before shopping:

    • Ground black pepper
    • Salt
    • Olive oil (need 1/4 cup)
    • Paprika
    • Ground cinnamon
    • Honey (need 4 to 6 teaspoons)


    • 2 cucumbers (unwaxed if possible)
    • 1 bunch green onions
    • 1 head garlic
    • 2 (10.5 ounce) containers grape or cherry tomatoes
    • 1 honeydew melon
    • 4 nectarines or peaches
    • 2 (6-ounce) containers raspberries or 1 pint blueberries (need 1 cup)
    • 2 lemons (one for wedges, one for 1/2 cup total fresh lemon juice)
    • Parsley
    • Italian (flat leaf) parsley
    • Oregano (if grilling chicken breasts)
    • 1 bunch mint


    • 1 package bulgur (need 3/4 cup)
    • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas or garbanzo beans
    • 1 lb. jar tahini


    • 1 package pita rounds
    • Freshly squeezed orange juice


    • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (if grilling chicken)

    Prepared foods counter

    • Dolmades (2 per person) 2 grilled chicken breasts (if not grilling yourself)

    Specialty cheese section

    • 1 container block feta cheese


    • 1 7-inch angel food cake (need 8 slices)

    In blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, the water, salt, and paprika. Cover; blend until smooth. Sprinkle with additional paprika.
