There's no better way to celebrate summer than with an outdoor get-together with family and friends. As everyone gathers around the grill, keep your guests refreshed with some cool, delicious drinks using these recipes created by Martha Stewart – one of our favorite sources for all good things related to entertaining.

Prosecco Sangria

  • 1 peach
  • 1 nectarine
  • 3 apricots
  • 5 ounces peach brandy
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) chilled Prosecco (Italian sparkling wine)
  • 1 cup peach nectar
  • Superfine sugar (optional)

In a pitcher, combine peach, nectarine, and apricots, all pitted and cut into wedges. Stir in peach brandy; let sit at least 1 hour. Stir in Prosecco and peach nectar. Add superfine sugar, if desired. Serve chilled.

Orange Rum Punch

  • 2 cups strained fresh orange juice (from about 8 oranges)
  • 2/3 cup light rum
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon bitters
  • Orange zest, for garnish

In a large pitcher, stir together orange juice, rum, lemon juice, sugar, and bitters. To serve, pour over ice and garnish with orange zest if desired.

Watermelon Lemonade

  • 2 lemons, quartered
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1/2 medium seedless watermelon (about 9 pounds), rind removed, flesh cut into chunks
  • 1 cup vodka (optional)

Squeeze lemons into a large pitcher; add squeezed lemon quarters. Add mint and sugar; mash with a wooden spoon until mint is bruised and sugar is dissolved.

In a blender, puree watermelon in batches until smooth; pour through a fine-mesh sieve into pitcher (you should have about 8 cups of juice). Stir to combine. (Refrigerate, covered, up to 3 days.) Add vodka, if using; serve over ice.
