1. Set a patriotic backdrop
One of the best ways to get in the patriotic spirit is to buy flags (big or small) and use them as decoration! Decorate everywhere, not just the table. Chances are, your guests won’t sit at the table all day and night, so branch out and get some festive decorations to display in your home or yard. It could be anything from flags to a banner to balloons. Get creative!
2. Decorate with fresh flowers and plenty of red, white, and blue

Put some gorgeous fresh flowers in a cute vase or mason jar to create the perfect centerpiece for your next party. Add flags and a fun table runner to tie everything together.
3. Get creative with the food...
Every year I host my family for the Fourth of July, and we love to get together beforehand to prepare festive food to enjoy throughout the day. We love strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Last year I found a recipe for raspberry muffins.
I topped them with delicious cream cheese frosting and fresh blueberries. They were to die for, plus they were pretty to look at!
Another one of my favorites is this tasty triple berry pie.
4. ... and the drinks
A DIY lemonade bar serves up cool, delicious, and easy sips that can be tailored to suit any guest's taste. They look super festive, too!
5. Go big!
I found this giant American flag that I wanted hang in our backyard. It's the perfect backdrop for any party we host this summer (especially while we spend our nights roasting s’mores around our fire pit).
