Making an effort to emulate the fashion sense of the stylish women destined to sit there, the brother-and-sister team of Eric Cohler and Jennifer Mason gave a dining room’s classic bones a sexy makeover. Sleek, high-gloss indigo paint provided a glamorous finish to timeless architecture, emphasizing the room’s paneling and moldings. An armless white sofa and a yellow painting stand out against the dark wall, enlivening the room with light accents.
