For the master bedroom, Laslie chose a brown-and-cream block-print fabric for draperies and an upholstered headboard. Pink accents in pillows, rug, and accessories—and a sensational 42-inch-diameter acrylic and steel chandelier—make the room “more girlie,” says Laslie. “It’s very modern-day Marie Antoinette.” Mirrors installed over the windows like transoms make the windows appear taller and “bounce light” around the room.
