Maybe it’s genetic. For as long as Joan Colangelo can remember, her family has had a love affair with design. Her parents instilled in her a fascination with antiques and architecture, and she has since passed along that same passion to her daughter, Krissie Brubaker.
After decades of dreaming (starting when Krissie was just a young girl) and careful planning, this mother-daughter design team finally opened their home furnishings shop, Trouvé (troo-vey), in Phoenix in 2003.
