Charming East Hampton Cottage

Removing an old stairway and adding windows transformed the formerly dark and crowded room into a sunny space with connections to the outdoors. Patricia designed the tufted chair, which is upholstered in a Nancy Corzine fabric. The Stark sisal rug and antiques—French wig heads, a Chinese horse figure, and a Swedish grandfather clock—add texture and sculptural elements to the room.
