2014 Napa Valley Showhouse

The Water Tower represents an iconic architectural structure for this property—and an opportunity to ascend to a floating Moroccan-inspired fantasy escape.
Sarah DeWitt of DeWitt Designs conceived the space as a vivid, dreamy area for conversation, laughter, and making memories. The wall-covering, reminiscent of impressionistic watercolors, allows the room to soar and transports the sky inside.
The custom designed tete-à-tete speaks to the Moroccan influence with shape, texture, and vibrant color; a pair of custom open French porter chairs add an “Alice-in-Wonderland” touch. The combination of embroidered linens, velvets, and embossed leather add a tactile experience. Lively conversation or quiet contemplation of magnificent views can be enjoyed from any comfortable perch.
Easy wine storage and service is offered by the rustic Welsh sideboard, which visually balances the vertical French doors and draws one’s eye up to the pewter finishes, crystals, and reflective surfaces, which add sparkle at night, by reflecting the lights of the Valley.
