Gardening Gizmo

Written by Rebecca Christian

I am not a gadget person, but I admit a timelapse project camera, $89.99, from Wingscapes caught my eye. A winner of the 2011 Green Thumb Awards from the Direct Gardening Association as one of the best new products of the year, it takes photos at set time intervals -- so you can watch your garden grow or new gazebo take shape. It also turns the photos into videos that can be shared on Facebook and youTube, at least marginally more exciting than telling everybody what you had for lunch. And unlike your bulb digging dog, the camera can be left unattended.

It might make a better Father's Day present than a tie, don't you think? Go here to find out more: http://www.naturehills.com/product/timelapse_projectcam.aspx
